Pushkar is worth visiting even without a festival. The lake, the ghats, and the Brahma temple, all of that is there year-round to explore. But every November, for about a week, the sand outside town fills up with thousands of camels, traders in bright turbans, and more tourists than the town usually sees in a month. That is the Pushkar Camel Fair.
